Have you met Catie? She’s equal parts classy and down-to-earth, with a generous dose of hilarious wit. It has been such a pleasure to talk with Catie about her goals for her business, including an elevated brand design to appeal to her ideal clients.
Catie’s previous logo was a simple typeface; there was nothing wrong with it… but it wasn’t giving the impression of a customized or high-end experience.
Together, we set out to change that! Catie described her brand style as refined, yet casual. She’s fun and joyful, but still professional and collected. She’s the kind of photographer who goes the extra mile to make sure a wedding day is stress-free for her clients (she gets a gold star for all that dress-fluffing!)… and at the end of the celebration, her couples walk away with heirloom images that will no doubt be taped to mirrors and folded within wallets for years to come.
Take a look at Catie’s elevated new brand design: a typographic monogram designed to convey her polished, yet laidback personality… a luxury brand that will appeal to her high-end clients without feeling stuffy.
Along with refined type choices, we added line-illustrated magnolias as a subtle nod to Catie’s mom: the state flower of Louisiana is the perfect way to honor her New Orleans heritage.
