Refined. Organic. Intentional. Minimalistic.
Every moment of this editorial tells a story—inviting the viewer to enter into the intimate moments a bride experiences on her wedding day.
Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of minimalist style, this collaboration combines a mid-century modern aesthetic with the influence of Japanese minimalism.
Minimalism invites us to pare down a design concept to its truest essentials: is there anything to be added? Is there anything to be taken away? Minimalism asks us to carefully consider each element of a design with thoughtful intention—ensuring that every detail is purposeful to the story we telling.
Simplicity draws attention to inherent beauty, without distraction. A simple silhouette gown draws focus to the bride’s natural features; a lone iris highlights the delicacy of a single bloom. The imagery features a simple color palette: white and ivory tones, accompanied by lush greens, soft textiles, and wood textures. Tea poured from an earthenware pot invites a guest to share an intimate moment—a ritual act of welcome, an opportunity to join together at the table.
A minimalist approach uncovers the essential beauty behind every image. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to invite the viewer into these intimate moments. Every element is designed with intention, creating a space of organic tranquility—a space every bride ought to experience on her treasured wedding day.
