“We need to remember what’s important in life: friends, waffles, work. Or waffles, friends, work. Doesn’t matter, but work is third.” What could be more fun than ladies celebrating ladies?! Working with Megan and Caitlin (who coordinated my own wedding!) of Celebrate Dallas, I collaborated on a Galentine’s brunch: kickin’ it breakfast-style.
I had a fun time stepping outside my comfort zone with this suite—trading in my usual pointed pen calligraphy for a whimsical brush script. In bright pink, purple, and red, we featured a girly color palette… and of course, plenty of Leslie Knope-isms. Balloons and champagne were quintessential, and these gorgeous bridesmaids rocked romantic pastel pink dresses.
With vibrant patterned liners and custom-painted envelope flaps, what’s not to love? One of my favorite parts was addressing the envelopes. On Galentine’s Day, envelope addresses deserve a little extra love: Chelsea, you poetic noble land mermaid.
Today, I hope you ladies remember: ovaries before brovaries… uteruses before duderuses. Happy Galentine’s Day! (it’s only the best day of the year). Take a peek and enjoy!
