Today I’m finally unveiling a heartfelt project I think you all are going to love! I had the joy of creating a wedding photographer logo design for one of my dearest friends (and an incredible mover in our industry!): Laylee Emadi Photography.
Laylee is a phenomenal photographer who captures weddings, high school seniors, and dancers. She’s also an encouraging educator and speaker who generously lends her expertise to other budding entrepreneurs. Her big heart for others, desire for authentic relationship, and passion for people are an inspiration to me daily. I’m honored that I was asked to contribute to her brand, and even more honored to call this talented woman a friend.
For Laylee’s branding, we started with a dusty pastel color palette: a look that would appeal to her wide audiences, including both brides and high school seniors. It’s cheerful, lighthearted, and feminine—just like Laylee (who, by the way, will tell you daily that she hates to wear pants. Dresses only!)
Her logo is a timeless representation of her feminine aesthetic. A classic serif evokes a timeless feel, accompanied by a custom-lettered “LE” monogram that adds a personalized touch. Her secondary type is a clean sans-serif, to subtly give the logo a modern twist.
We added the works: letterhead, thank you card, and business card designs—all custom-tailored to Laylee’s new visual identity. Her clients will experience a cohesive aesthetic every time they encounter Laylee’s brand. Altogether, these designs help elevate Laylee Emadi Photography’s look to the same timeless, elegant standard we see in every photo she shoots.
I have so much love for this wonderful friend, and for her new branding! Take a peek, and don’t forget to check out Laylee Emadi Photography to learn more about Laylee and her many talents.
