Branding: Marchetta

Production season is in full swing over here for my wedding clients. I’ve been a busy little bee bringing several custom invitation designs to life and calligraphing their corresponding envelopes. It won’t be long before I can finally share photos of the final results… and I have a hunch you’re going to love what we’ve been working on!

In the meantime, it’s been such a fun creative outlet to explore these brand concepts lately! I’ve got another one lined up for you today—an interior designer branding concept for to match the client’s “transitional” design style:

Interior Designer Branding: Marchetta

Marchetta is a brand concept that strikes the perfect balance between timeless taste and contemporary style—just like the “Transitional” interior design movement. HGTV describes the transitional style as “a marriage of traditional and contemporary furniture, finishes, materials and fabrics equating to a classic, timeless design.” As such, Marchetta’s visual branding captures exactly that!

Harkening back to antique family heraldry, this modern spin on a “crest” incorporates symbols of hospitality and welcome:

  • Keys: a symbol of welcome and openness
  • Pineapple: the universal symbol of hospitality
  • Peacocks: symbols of wisdom and prosperity

Together, these motifs create a contemporary crest that perfectly suits Marchetta: modern yet timeless.

Taking inspiration from Marchetta’s favorite interiors, the color palette is a blend of warm neutrals with cool French-blue hues. Light blues feel clean and fresh, while gold colors and darker blues anchor the color scheme in classic style.

The secondary marks and custom pattern are the finishing touch for Marchetta’s new look. Enjoy my latest interior designer branding project!

Have you ever found yourself looking at your own logo and thinking: “I thought my logo was unique, but now I see so many just like it…” or maybe, “Well, it worked okay when I first started my business… but I’ve definitely outgrown that look.” Or even worse: “It’s just not quite me…”

I hear you.

Branding isn’t easy—take it from someone who invested a whole college education in learning about it!

Brand design is the first impression you make on potential clients. If it’s done well, it will be timeless and uniquely yours. I believe every logo design should have that little twist that ties the design to a brand story and cannot be easily replicated. Your logo is so much more than a font or watercolor graphic anyone could grab online.

Branding is a big investment, but (if it’s done well) it is worth every penny. A well-crafted brand design has longevity, timelessness, and a unique thread that ties the design to your story.

If you’re ready to dive into creating a memorable brand identity, let me know!
