How time flies! It’s already been ten days since I walked the across the stage and received my (placeholder) diploma. It took quite a bit longer than ten days to achieve graduate status, so I wanted to share my milestone with friends and family. Although the SMU graduation announcements were a classic choice, I opted for a more personal approach toward cueing my family in on the big event. Surprise surprise, I hand-lettered my graduation announcements to better fit my own personality and express the details of my post-graduation plans. Color choice was (as always!) a difficult decision, but I’m happy with the final product… and of course even happier with the news contained in it!
As if December 19 wasn’t a big enough day already, we decided to throw in an Engagement Party just to keep the festivities going. Since all our relatives were in town for the ceremony and the holidays already, we decided it was an ideal time to get together with any family members who had not yet been introduced. With another occasion to celebrate, we were in need of yet another invitation design. Let me just say, the Campbell Family postage stamp budget went up exponentially this year… but I certainly won’t complain about an excess of snail mail and envelope addressing opportunities!
A huge thank you to all our loved ones for joining in the celebration with us! And a special thank you to my mom for hosting a lovely occasion. My alumni status hasn’t quite sunken in yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to post-graduation life. Thankful for a little peace and quiet during the “in-between,” after the holidays but before full-time work. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your own “in-between” moments this week!
